Our Sitters
Robert Robert is the company’s founder and owner. An avid pet lover since he was a little child, Robert enjoys the unconditional love that our pets provide. After reading the book “48 Days to the Work You Love” by Dan Miller, Robert began a search for a way to his passion into a career. It seemed only natural that pets should play a role in whatever direction he took. Robert currently owns 2 dogs – “Finlay” a yellow lab, and “Sidney” a retriever. In his spare time Robert enjoys flying, learning as much as he can about animals, and playing the piano at his church. Robert recently relocated to Utah to expand the business. Focus markets include Ogden, Utah and the entire Salt Lake City, Utah metro region.
Rick Rick is the General Manager of Away Home & Pet Care of Columbia, SC and has been with us for 5 years. His service area includes the entire metro Columbia, SC region and he works hard to ensure the pets of Columbia are receiving the best care possible. His responsibilities include recruiting and training pet sitters in South Carolina. Rick’s family includes 2 cats, “Arial”, and “Berlioz”. Rick has volunteered with Pets Inc. and Workshop Theater in the past.
Elizabeth Elizabeth has been a pet lover as long as she can remember and has been with Away Home & Pet Care for over four years. She is the mother of two beautiful children and enjoys spending time with her family and other people's pets. Elizabeth primarily services the South Congaree, West Columbia and Gaston areas.
Ann Ann is a retired school teacher who can think of no better job than playing with pets all day! (Actually, there’s a lot more involved than this!) Ann provides service to Shandon, Rosewood, and Columbia East.
Angela Angela is one of our part-time sitters who services the Pelion, Swansea and Lexington area. She adopted an incredible teenager, who also happens to be her cousin. She is the owner of a black lab “Dinah”. In her spare time Angela enjoys renovating real estate and riding her Sportster.
Dianne Dianne started out with Away Home & Pet Care as a client. After realizing the quality of the care we provide, she wanted to offer other pets the same level of comfort. Dianne covers the Lexington area and is an extremely passionate and caring person.
